Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University of Technology & Skill Development (BBS-UTECH), Khairpur Mirs, organized a grand ceremony at the University Auditorium Hall on August 27, 2026, to mark Jashn-e-Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH). The event was arranged by the Student Welfare Office in collaboration with student volunteers.
The program began at 11:00 AM with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by inter-departmental competitions in Naat-e-Rasool (PBUH), speech, and essay writing in Urdu, Sindhi, and English. Students paid rich tribute to the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), reflecting on his universal message of peace, character, and integrity.
Syed Imran Ali Shah, Senior Religious Preacher at Dawat-e-Islami International Movement, delivered an inspiring keynote address, emphasizing youth character building, moral discipline, and the practical application of the Prophet’s (PBUH) teachings in academic and daily life.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Rasool Bux Mahar highlighted the importance of adopting the Seerah of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) to achieve excellence in ethics and knowledge. Student Welfare Officer Mr. Abdul Shakoor also addressed the gathering and thanked the administration and volunteer team for their efforts.
The ceremony concluded with the presentation of a souvenir to the chief guest, distribution of prizes among competition winners by the Vice Chancellor, and a collective supplication (Dua) for national peace and prosperity.
